For example, one time, our company brought in one type of air-conditioners that was floor-standing type and that was the most trouble making equipments we have experienced ever. As you all know, the electric power supply in Burma is not stable and frequently tripped. So that, most of the electronic equipments with high sensitivities are not being able to stay up to its life time. Most of the equipments are defective as of the fluctuation of electrical power supply.
I still can remember that type of air-conditioners show up error E2, description said that intercommunication errors. We really do not have solution to solve. But, as of urgency of equipments to be able to operate, we took out the same control PCB card from new equipments and replace it. The faulty machine could resume its operation immediately but the same machine in warehouse left NO PCB.
But, by the time sale department want to sell out the machine in warehouse, there have some disputes in meeting. I just want to recall my memory of the days I have experienced in errors given by these machines.
As much as the machines became more intelligent, it helps technicians to find faults and solve the faulty parts in short time. But, if we do not have this error codes, it is more troublesome for us. The following are the error codes for DAIKIN air-conditioners. It will be useless if you are not in field of air-conditioning, but will be precious if you are working as air-conditioning systems related jobs.
In Myanmar, DAIKIN also have certain percentage of market share in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Systems, so that if you need to face with DAIKIN, the following error codes will help you to solve your Air conditioners’ problems.
PROCEDURES TO TEST WITH REMOTE CONTROLLER
If your DAIKIN remote controller comes with a "test" button, use it. Otherwise press the Temperature UP, Temperature DOWN and the MODE buttons all at the same time. I repeat all 3 buttons at the same time.
You will see 00 on the remote controller. The first "0" will be blinking.
Stand facing the particular air conditioner you wanted to test.
Now press the Temperature UP button, "0" will become "A" and the air conditioner will respond with either a single beep or double beep.
Carry on pressing the Temperature UP button and listen to the beeping sound, stop when you hear a double beep. For example: it is now showing "C0".
Now press the MODE button, the second "0" will be blinking.
Now press the Temperature UP button, "0" will become "1" and the air conditioner will respond with either a double beep or a continuous beep.
The continuous beep is the error code. For example "C4", it means it is a faulty liquid pipe thermistor
