Seven Steps to a Successful Business Plan

Whenever we think of starting an own business, the biggest obstacle that is hindering us to jump into business is "Risk". Actually, there is no place without risk. The only thing differ is whether you can control it or not. If you can control all the risks you encountered, it apparently lesser risk. However, the statement "Business is risky." is the one which embedded and most of our unconscious minds believed in that and became like a true fact.

Eventually, all the risks can be controllable. The only thing we need to know is how to control it. As far as I studied, doing business is very similar like constructing a building. Nowadays, we do drawing of the building in AutoCAD or whatsoever drawing software. It can help us to visualize how does it looks like our final product is? The other thing is scheduling. We need to schedule when we are going to do what matters to be able to get such kind of end result we are looking for.

In business, sketching out the end product you are building and scheduling can be combined into one item, which is Business Plan. Most of us, who were in employee mindsets, are very easy to give up business ideas before we write any business plan. We should change it if we were going to walk as a business person. So, come on our friends. Let’s start build our own business on paper first, write it down onto paper and execute whether all the risks we have to face are controllable or what kind of extent control measure we need to implement.

Here is one more book of business planning subject, it is “Seven Steps to a Successful Business Plan” by Author Al Coke. Here we go a short description of the books.

As the saying goes, "People don't plan to fail- they fail to plan." In business, this failing is fatal - because planning is essential to the well-being and success of any company. Seven Steps to a Successful Business Plan cuts past the traditional planning problems, and provides readers with a documented method of building a simplified business plan that works!

The book helps managers find a sensible starting point, understand the value of an integrated planning model, and finally write a logical business plan. Four features make it all work:
